If you are interested in earning the Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR) designation, now is the time to do it. The National Association of Realtors (NAR) has announced that it will continue to waive the SFR application and webinar fees through March 31, 2010.
To earn the new SFR designation, Sales Associates must complete the one-day certification course, “Short Sales and Foreclosure: What Real Estate Professionals Need to Know,” as well as three one-hour webinars. The Weichert Real Estate School will offer the required certification course at several locations during the waiver period, with classes starting as soon as Monday, Feb. 8. The course also can be used as an elective toward the Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) certification. (All Agents Welcome).
Applicants who complete all requirements by March 31, 2010, can save $250. For a limited time only the course fee has been reduced from $150 to $75, and the webinar and application fees of $175 are waived through March 31.
